Whether you are looking to hone your skills in the off season or introduce friends or colleagues to the sport, this combination of efficient travel and expert instruction offers a great opportunity. With the ability to fly from and to private landing sites, Thunder can also quote a bespoke day based around a pick up location that works for you.
The start of your ride. Meet your pilot & helicopter. Lift off can be from either Battersea Heliport or Denham Aerodrome (NW London.) If you've never experienced taking off in a helicopter get ready for the exhilaration!
Depending on the route available on the day, the first approach is usually the stunning Richmond River drop in. You'll see the majestic Thames winding into London and the wonderful green spaces of South West London.
Enjoy a unique vantage point of one of London's iconic monuments. The view from the sky is truly inspiring. Marvel at the architecture and her famous chimney towers.
It doesn't matter if you live in London or are visiting, the House of Parliament are a marvel of history and architecture. The view of Big Ben and the surroundings are amazing.
What's a better view of London than on the London Eye? From a helicopter of course! Seeing the London Eye lit up is magical. Dusk and night-flights can be requested (for an additional fee.)

Upon landing, your experience includes a two-hour lesson across a selection of beautifully laid-out sporting stands, thoughtfully positioned throughout our picturesque 60-acre grounds. Each stand is designed to authentically simulate a range of classic game shooting scenarios, offering both variety and challenge in a stunning natural setting. Following your session, your instructor will escort you back to the lodge, where you’ll be welcomed once again by our staff and guided to Joshua Hunter’s at Holland & Holland restaurant. Led by Michelin-trained chef Joshua Hunter, the restaurant offers an exceptional dining experience. Sit back and indulge in exquisite dishes from the à la carte menu, each course perfectly complemented by our sommelier’s expert selection from our distinguished wine cellar
With space for up to 7 passengers and a flight time of approximately 12 minutes, maximise your day of shooting with the use of our exemplary fleet of state-of-the-art Agusta helicopters landing directly at the H&H Duck Hill Shooting Ground.
Your dedicated, certified H&H Instructor will join you for a friendly introduction to learn about your experience and tailor the day to your expectations.
