With capacity to fly up to 7 passengers per helicopter, Thunder Aviation can deliver you directly to the Ducks Hill shooting ground to be hosted by the expert team for either morning or afternoon of instruction and exemplary cuisine.

Nestled in 60 acres of stunning countryside just outside London, a day at Holland & Holland Clay Shooting Grounds offers a quintessentially British sporting experience tailored to all levels - from complete novices to seasoned shots. The start of your ride. Meet your pilot & helicopter. Lift off can be from either Battersea Heliport or Denham Aerodrome (NW London.) If you've never experienced taking off in a helicopter get ready for the exhilaration!

Richmond River Approach

Depending on the route available on the day, the first approach is usually the stunning Richmond River drop in. You'll see the majestic Thames winding into London and the wonderful green spaces of South West London.

Battersea Power Station

London Eye

What's a better view of London than on the London Eye? From a helicopter of course! Seeing the London Eye lit up is magical. Dusk and night-flights can be requested (for an additional fee.)

Upon landing, your experience includes a two-hour lesson across a selection of beautifully laid-out sporting stands, thoughtfully positioned throughout our picturesque 60-acre grounds. Each stand is designed to authentically simulate a range of classic game shooting scenarios, offering both variety and challenge in a stunning natural setting. Following your session, your instructor will escort you back to the lodge, where you’ll be welcomed once again by our staff and guided to Joshua Hunter’s at Holland & Holland restaurant.
